Rosemore Lancer Lockers

Papa smurf completion’s all I see as I walk by
Graham cracker is reminded as it catches my eye
Not the sugary taste, but the shape
Taller than the elementary kids that act like apes
You’re dark until I open you, Concord grape
With a simple code you got my back like a cape
Some people can’t crack your code, so they’re stuck like a
whole row of tape
Not wide enough, you don’t leave me no space
But still manage to be aligned, box of crayon based
You keep my belongings safe with a smile on my face

This poem is what we worked on in class. This class is also teaching us how to blog. We're learning writing skills that will effect our everyday life. This poems was one of our daily exercises that our teacher taught us. We looked around the school and wrote random items down with a description of at lease 5-7 metaphors/similes. After that we just turned our descriptions to a poem. The poem didn't have to rhyme, but I cant stand a poem that doesn't rhyme. Hope you all enjoy, Thank You.
